Joint Care Center

Castle Medical Center’s Joint Care Center is the first center in Hawai‘i dedicated to hip and knee replacement procedures. Staffed by specially trained nurses and other professionals, the Joint Care Center offers a personalized four-day treatment program to help speed recovery in a healthful, active environment.

The Center’s specialized care includes:

• Comprehensive orientation the Friday before surgery
• Private rooms with access to our activity room
• Complimentary flowers from our staff and physicians
• Case managers to assist with equipment and services needed after discharge
• A catered luncheon on Wednesday and a gourmet dinner on Thursday
• Daily group and individual physical therapy
• An informational and entertaining daily newsletter
• Convenient, free parking.

In addition, our staff of orthopedic surgeons is in demand for sports-related problems, for wrist, foot, and shoulder pain, and for nerve and tendon injuries related to repetitive motion.
