Angiography

Angiography services are available to O‘ahu residents through Castle Medical Center’s multi-purpose digital lab. In addition to performing elective cases throughout the week, our highly trained staff and physicians are available on-call at all times in the event of an emergency.

Our technology allows us to acquire digital images necessary for specialized interventional procedures, including:

• Angioplasty, to treat blocked or narrowed blood vessels
• Embolizations, to block bleeding vessels and stop internal bleeding
• Insertion of stents, to keep open severely blocked vessels
• Drainage catheters
• Thrombolytic therapy, a technique to dissolve blood clots.
